Return to The Hidden Moon: An Unexpected Adventure in Outer Space

Overview

A secret call for help sends Jack Coughlin, Collin, and Danny back to The Hidden Moon to save their new friends! The Hidden Moon adventures continue when twelve-year-old Jack Coughlin awakens to find the stone on his bedroom dresser glowing green. It's not just any stone; it's a special stone given to him when he, his younger brother, Collin, and their friend, Danny, magically visited Anron, The Hidden Moon. The stone is flashing a signal: S-O-S in Morse Code. It can only mean one thing: their new Anronite friends, Karna and Nidar, need their help. Return to The Hidden Moon is the second book in the Children's Hidden Moon Series, by J. S. Keim, filled with fantasy, fun, and danger.

Reviews

""There are heroes and villains... and bad-guy problems. But the kids get to sort it all out. Some of the ""bad-guys"" turn around, become ""good-guys."" That's a positive message for youngsters who read these books, and exactly what should be expected of an adventure story for young boys and girls."" ""The magic that carries the two brothers and their friend off to another planet is every young person's dream. And all the creatures they encounter, who are mostly good, are described in such vivid detail. I could see them in my imagination. Of course, there are the bad guys, but this is what keeps the book exciting.""

Author Information

J. S. (Judith) Keim is a USA Today Best-Selling Author of adult stories. She enjoyed her childhood and young-adult years in Elmira, New York, and now makes her home in Boise, Idaho, with her husband and their Dachshund, Wally, and other members of their family. While she was growing up, books were always present - being read, ready to go back to the library, or about to be discovered. Information from the books was shared in conversation, giving everyone in the family a thirst for sharing ideas. Perhaps that is why she was drawn to the idea of writing stories early on. As J. S. Keim, she writes middle-grade fantasy books for children. She particularly loves to write novels about characters who have interesting, fun, and exciting experiences with creatures both real and fantastical, and who learn to see the world in a different way.
