Reviews

In Return of the Dragon Denny Roy has contributed a thoughtful, insightful, and up-to-date study of China's security environment, policies, and activities. It covers a lot of ground in an informative manner for both unitiated and well-versed readers. Roy anticipates China becoming more assertive as its power increases, and his study helps to undestand why this may be the case. -- David Shambaugh, George Washington University
