OverviewIn May 1864, William Tecumseh Sherman invaded Georgia, and began his Atlanta Campaign. His successful capture of Atlanta was the beginning of the end for the Confederacy. This book tells the story of Sherman's Atlanta Campaign through the mechanism of looking at what remains today (monuments, buildings, trenches, etc.) at 37 sites associated with those events. It also lists museums that contain artifacts or displays from the Atlanta Campaign. Where possible, addresses are included for GPS units.
