PREET S. AULAKH is Assistant Professor of International Business at Michigan State University. His previous work on international entry modes, strategic alliances and technology licensing has appeared in various journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Marketing and Journal of International Marketing. MICHAEL G. SCHECHTER is a Professor of International Relations at James Madison College of Michigan State University. His research and teaching interests focus on global governance and foreign policy decision-making. His most recent published works include editing Innovation in Multilateralism (1998) and The Future of Multilateralism: The Political and Social Framework (1998). He is also the author of the Historical Dictionary of International Organizations (1998).
