Author Information

About Author Sameer Babbar BE, ME, MBA, GAICD After qualifying as an engineer I continued on my quest for knowledge and use of technology to help other businesses solve complex and challenging problems. I realised that to solve complex problems, the business needs to navigate information coming from multiple sources at a rapid pace. Be it satellite data or social media, they are all sources of information that help enhance value and I have equally leveraged on them. Both my grandfathers were deeply passionate and highly successful businessmen, following on their footsteps, I continue to help businesses generate higher value for the efforts being put in. Following this journey, I have worked with UN, Oil Companies, Mining firms, Telecommunication organisations, Transportation, Custom Services, National and state governments, regional councils, small and large businesses. What I found was the best decisions in business were made when we combined our anecdotal, tacit gut-feel knowledge with opinions from others and facts. This checklist is my humble attempt to put together my interaction and experience with organisations over many years.
