Retail Park is a reconciliation with the ubiquity of coming of age in one's hometown. This collection is a reminder of all of the emotions and reactions that face us as we grow and challenge our surroundings. These pieces journey through the questions we ask of ourselves as we learn our own beliefs on family, religion, grief and illness, and the general navigation of life. Sam Millar illustrates what it is to sit with yourself and make sense of the world and sometimes to give in and look to the birds when nothing makes sense.
