I am stunned by this novel which sets up one trapdoor after the next, plummeting the protagonist and the reader to ever more abysmal levels of knowledge. Mr. Anderson is absolutely a comer and is doing things that I think Condon could only have dreamed of doing. This is one of the most extraordinary novels I have ever read, and I don't want to hedge around that word or classification. - Scott Meredith Riveting! Steven Popoford desperately battles the Deep State to save both the U.S. and his sanity... First in a forthcoming series, Resurrection Runner by Robert Wood Anderson is a page-turner in the tradition of the classic hard-boiled detective/spy novels we all know and love. The twists and turns of the plot, coupled with Anderson's classy, erudite style and extensive vocabulary will captivate you immediately. You won't be able to put this one down, so get comfy and buckle in for a breathtaking adventure with Steven Popoford as he risks everything to stop the Deep State's takeover of the country, while simultaneously clawing his way out of an alternative reality not of his own making. You'll never guess how it all turns out! Engaging, great read. Highly recommend! I loved reading this book. Mr. Anderson weaves a complex tale with many twists and turns, a deep psychological conspiracy that kept me guessing until the very end. And -- I don't want to provide any spoilers -- but unlike in so many books, Mr. Anderson doesn't paint his protagonist as a superhero. This is refreshing, to say the least. The writing style reminds me a little of the John Le Carre Smiley novels with an interesting combination of both calm *and* urgency. I look forward to seeing what comes next for Steven Popoford! - R. Wandering Resurrection Runner is absolutely dazzling. It's superficially a novel of intelligence, intrigue, espionage, yet there's much more to Resurrection Runner than that, It's a literary novel, to be sure, but so equipped with the paraphernalia and the apparent apparatus of the espionage novel that the reader is halfway through the book or more before it becomes apparent Mr. Anderson has something entirely different in mind. This is a must-read for adults of all ages. - Scott Meredith Author InformationNebraska thriller novelist, Robert Wood Anderson's experience includes politics, firearms, photography, and stage and TV performance.
