Restructured ADR: European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road


Overview

This agreement, which aims at increasing the safety of international transport by road, deals with the conditions of transport of dangerous goods (including dangerous wastes) by road. Dangerous goods are classified according to their dangerous physical and chemical properties. Annex A to the agreement lays down, inter alia, the list of dangerous goods, packing conditions and standards, labelling, marking and documentation provisions. Annex B applies more specifically to the transport equipment and transport operations.
