Restaging Feminisms offers a re-encounter with the tripartite modelling of liberal, radical, and socialist feminisms foundational to establishing feminist approaches to theatre. Elaine Aston holds the Departmental Chair of Theatre at Lancaster University, UK. She has published numerous books and articles on feminism and theatre. A former editor of Theatre Research International, she is the elected President of the International Federation of Theatre Research (2019-23).
