The author, R. Brian Burkhardt is licensed as a funeral director in Illinois and Virginia. He has worked for several funeral homes in both states and has arranged many funeral services at Arlington National Cemetery. Prior to becoming a funeral director, R. Brian Burkhardt was a certified manager with a national newspaper chain. Most recently, R. Brian started his own company and does consulting work on every aspect of funerals.
