Shanghai Chest Hospital, as the first tertiary specialized hospital in China dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiothoracic diseases, boasts leading expertise in the field of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment, setting the national standard. Committed to advancing the Healthy China initiative, the hospital places great emphasis on health science education and communication and has established the Shanghai Health Science Communication and Culture Base. To further enhance the dissemination of scientific knowledge, the hospital launched the ""Lung Cancer-Specific Health Science"" project in 2023. This initiative focuses on ""reaching all demographics, covering the entire treatment process, and utilizing all media platforms"" for lung cancer health science communication.
