My name is Arna Okimoto, and I just turned 21 something I never thought I'd live to see. I'm a junior in college, majoring in psychology, and an aspiring actress, writer, and singer. I was adopted after spending years in foster care, and for a long time, I believed I was unlovable and wouldn't survive. But I did. Resilient Heart is my story in poetry about pain, healing, and hope. I wrote it for the girl I was and the woman I'm becoming. If you've ever felt lost, broken, or forgotten-this is proof you're never truly alone.
