Author Information

Erkut Akkartal, who completed his undergraduate education in electronics science, his master's degree and his doctorate in statistics and econometrics respectively, served as a Professor in the field of Supply Chain. He worked in the Turkish Naval Forces for 20 years and retired as a Colonel. There are over thirty publications and 290 citations on statistics and logistics management in various journals and congresses. He also gave lectures in the Czech Republic and the University of Inholland. Supply Chain Information Systems is his main field of study. He is the author of a book on this subject and 2 books of which he is the editor. He is currently the head of the Logistics Management department at Yeditepe University.
