Research Into the Process of Producing Potassium Hydroxide

Overview

Potassium plays a vital role in crop nutrition and is essential for the optimal growth and productivity of many agricultural crops, particularly solanaceous crops like potato and tomato. This study investigates the agronomic significance of potassium fertilizers, examining their effects on yield, quality, and soil nutrient dynamics. Potassium chloride and potassium sulfate were applied at varying doses in field experiments conducted in Andijan region. The results demonstrated a significant increase in tuber and fruit yield, enhanced quality parameters such as starch and sugar content, and improved plant resistance to drought and diseases. This research emphasizes the necessity of balanced potassium fertilization to sustain agricultural productivity in Uzbekistan.
