Among many of his academic and professional activities, in Portugal and abroad, it is worth noting that I was a student at the University of Lisbon (1966-1976) and Paris - Sorbonne - (1976-1977), professor at the University of Lisbon (1975-1992) and Maputo (1979-1987), and Consultant United Nations (1989), in Mozambique. In Guinea-Bissau (1988-1992), he participated as coordinator, methodologist and statistician, in the Demographic and Health Survey, for the Ministry of Health, with support from the World Bank. He is currently Associate Professor and Researcher at the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT). He operate in the areas of Social Sciences with an emphasis in Sociology, Political Science and Computer Science and Information.
