Overview

Represent is a screenplay that's based on some true incidents that happened in my life. Chris has less than a couple of weeks to go before graduation, but little does he know these last few weeks are about to be the most eventful days of his life. Chris is caught in a bind between his friend who is a Crip, and his sister trying her best to join the blood gang. Chris has to decide who's more important, without getting killed in the process. All the dialogue in the script is written exactly how the members of both sets speak and interacts. The moral of this screenplay, is for people to realize, once you pick up a flag ready to represent something, you have to know if you ready to kill or be killed. No matter if it's a family member that's involved.

My name is Bernard Mersier, and I reside in Detroit, Michigan. Majority of my work, including Represent, are materials I have personally experienced myself, with a combination of various stories I've been told by family and friends. What my goals are as a writer aside from it being a born talent. I want to give people something new that will open their mind up more to what's going on in the world.
