Besides a brief account of the Humanists' editions of the Seneca tragedies in the early 16th century the repertory follows the critical discussion of the text and lists systematically the conjectures recorded since M.A. Delrio (1619) down to the year 2007. Margarethe Billerbeck, Dr.phil. (1974), FU Berlin, and D.Phil. (1981) University of Oxford, is Professor of Greek and Latin at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). She has widely published on Seneca tragedies, including Sprachliche und stilistische Untersuchungen (Brill, 1988) and Hercules Furens (Brill, 1999). Mario Somazzi, Lic.phil. (1978), University of Basel, is Honorary Research Assistant in Classics at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). Margarethe Billerbeck, Dr.phil. (1974), FU Berlin, und D.Phil. (1981) University of Oxford, ist Ordinaria für Klassische Philologie an der Universität Freiburg Schweiz. Ihre Publikationen zu Senecas Tragödien umfassen ""Sprachliche und stilistische Untersuchungen"" (Brill 1988) sowie ""Hercules Furens"" (Brill 1999). Mario Somazzi, Lic.phil.
