Author Information

Lilian Idiaghe holds a Masters degree in Law and a PhD in Energy Law and Policy. She was a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has also taught undergraduate courses on the University of London International Programmes. She was selected by Harvard Law School's Institute for Global Law & Policy for its first African Regional Workshop in 2016. She is recipient of several prizes including Richard Akinjide Prize for Best Overall Student in the LLM Programme, University of Ibadan, Debo Akande Prize for Best Student in Criminal Procedure, Bar Part II Finals, Nigerian Law School, and Dr. (Mrs.) Irene Odaro Memorial Prize for Best Student in Criminal Law, University of Benin. Lilian has authored other works on natural resources, environment, and renewable energy.
