Overview

One of the great challenges threatening the future of humanity is pollution, water and energy. The latter two are considered to be the lifeblood of any civilization. For this reason, modern man must rationalize his use of them, and is obliged to discover alternative solutions capable of remedying the current situation of water and atmospheric pollution, which is generated essentially by industrialization, transport and domestic waste. Over the last few decades, we have witnessed the phenomenon of global warming, which has brought serious dangers to the earth. This phenomenon has dragged the planet into climatic instability accompanied by natural disasters (high temperatures, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes...etc.). In this course material on renewable energies, we will give a general overview of the different types of renewable energies, their operating principles and the different techniques used.
