As a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, she teaches interpreting studies, remote interpreting, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting French-Dutch and interpreting skills. She publishes especially on technology-mediated communication, specifically in settings involving dialogue interpreting. She is also a board member of the European Network for Public Service Interpreting and Translation (ENPSIT) and previously worked as a sworn interpreter in the Netherlands.
