Overview

Ancient scriptures tell of Sophia, the Divine Feminine Manifestation of God. Sophia has been present both with and within humanity from our creation. She is ever available to us in prayer and we can turn to her in meditation and prayer, especially when we are unable to participate in Eucharistic services with others due to distance or disaster. This vespers, or evening, service addresses Sophia as a way to reflect at the end of day. This vespers is approved for use by the clergy of the Ecclesia Gnostica. It is significantly designed for use non-clergy and it is intended to serve the needs of the isolated practitioners and those newly interested in Gnostic spirituality.
