Nancy lives with her husband, Skip, in Mebane, North Carolina. She and Skip have six adult children, fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Nancy enjoys writing children's books, watercolor painting, playing golf, creating jewelry, reading mystery and historical novels, and traveling with Skip. She also has a passion for genealogy. Nancy has traced her ancestors back thirteen generations to the late 1600s, when they lived in Virginia. She has Revolutionary War and Civil War ancestors, and is a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Nancy has enjoyed a rich and diverse career she has been a schoolboard chairman, an art teacher for children, a church deacon, and Sunday school director. She is also an avid writer.
