Remembering: An Advent Story of God's Faithfulness is a December countdown to Christmas, outlining the stories of the Old Testament and how they are leading up to God's plan of salvation through His son, Jesus Christ. Written in the style of the Jesse Tree tradition, we emphasize the importance of the Bible as ONE story, with illustrations on each page inspired by stained glass. Beginning with Creation and including the stories of Abraham, Ruth, and David, as well as stories of Saul, the split of Israel and the rebellion of God's people, we can see God's faithfulness throughout history. And we know that remembering His mercy and sacrificial love during the Christmas season can shift our focus back to God and the joy of seeking Him.
