Overview

This Manual takes a practical approach to identifying and choosing remedial relief and the calculation of damages. For all students and practitioners who face the challenge of finding practical solutions to real problems, this Manual will provide substantive law, problems and worked examples across a range of topics which frequently arise in general practice. It has been updated to reflect the impact of the new Civil Procedure Rules. The first part covers the general principles of contract and tort remedies, with in-depth instruction on the calculation of damages in personal injury and fatal accident cases.
