Reviews

The Serbian Grandmaster Milos Pavlovic, in a follow up to his 2017 book on the same subject, has chosen to write a book from Black's perspective offering a narrow repertoire in which all of White's tries: from the Four Pawns Attack to the Classical variation are dealt with. In so doing he has produced a very personal book that is not overwhelming for newcomers to the opening yet also offers fresh ideas for experienced users. IM John Donaldson, Berkeley, January 2025.
