Rano Turaeva is a Habilitating Candidate at the Ludwig Maximillian University and an associated researcher at Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle Saale, Germany. Michael Brose is Professor of Practice, Central Eurasian Studies, at Indiana University, UK.
