She is the author, co-author and co-editor of five previous books. She was the senior co-editor of the International Journal of Canadian Studies from June 2014-2018, and is on the board of the European Journal of Politics and Gender and the Journal of Women, Politics and Policy. Patrick James is the Dornsife Dean's Professor of the School of International Relations, University of Southern California. He has published 30 books and 150 articles and chapters.
