Tims is professor in the department of psychiatry and behavioral medicine, University of South Florida, science advisor to Operation PAR, Inc., and former chief of the Services Research Branch, National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Institutes of Health. Carl G. Leukefeld is professor of psychiatry and behavioral science and director of the Center on Drug and Alcohol Research at the University of Kentucky, and former deputy director, Division of Clinical Research, National Institute on Drug Abuse, NIH. Jerome J. Platt is former director of the Institute for Addictive Disorders, Allegheny University of the Health Sciences.
