Samar Yorde, autora de Soy saludable (Aguilar), es médico especialista en salud pública, certificada en medicina de obesidad, escritora, conferencista y motivadora. Creadora del movimiento Soy saludable, con más de 1.6 millones de seguidores en redes sociales. ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY Samar Yorde was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and was educated in Venezuela. She is the author of the book I Am Healthy: Transform Your Life Without Anxiety or Obsessions (Aguilar, 2016) and creator of the social network @SoySaludable, focused on the development of good habits relating to health, nutrition, physical activity, emotional well-being and illness prevention, and which includes the support of doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, and professional trainers. Yorde, a doctor specialized in public health with certification in obesity medicine, is also a professional speaker, health coach, motivator, lecturer, and educator; she participates regularly in radio and television programs, presenting segments about health, nutrition, and healthy cooking.
