Author Information

Born in Mount Vernon, Washington USA September 20, 1946, the author attended grade school in Western and Eastern Colorado, boarding high school in Eastern and Western Washington, and University in Eastern and Western Washington, Receiving a BS degree from the University of Washington in August, 1987. He worked eight years for the University of Washington as a Radiation Technician, and nine years for the State of Washington as a Radiation Health Physicist and Radiological Dose Assessor. His crowning achievement for the WA State Radiation Control Section was to boil down voluminous emergency response dose assessments to a simple list of Derived Intervention Levels (DILs) for the interdiction of contaminated food stuffs and water. His DILs System went national and international. July 3, 1992 Gordon left state employment for a career of free lance writing. So far he has 27 books published.
