She has held a number of different leadership roles including working as a curriculum supervisor, principal, curriculum director, and as an assistant superintendent. Her career has focused primarily on innovation in education with the goal of increasing equity and access for all students. Most recently, Dr. Azukas's work has focused on personalized learning, online and blended learning, systems thinking, mixed reality, and virtual leadership. Minkyoung Kim is an assistant professor at the University of West Florida. For the past 20 years, she has devoted herself to developing scholarship as well as practical professionalism in the field of Instructional Design & Technology. She has earned a doctoral degree in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University in 2016 and bachelor's and master's degrees in the same field at Ewha Womans University in Korea. Previously, she was employed at IBM Korea as a senior business consultant and instructional designer for several years. As a senior consultant, she engaged and managed a variety of consulting projects on change and human performance improvement. She also served as an instructional consultant at Texas Tech University, providing pedagogical and technology consultations for faculty members so that they can improve their online and face-to-face teaching.
