ABOUT THE AUTHOR After completing her training with several Master Teachers, Reiki Master Teacher Soraya set up the Lightworkers Foundation to offer Reiki training. During that time Soraya strived to improve the content, structure, and methods of teaching Reiki to comply with today's modern standards of education yet maintaining the original Usui Tibetan concept. The Lightworkers Foundation was first branded by Learn Direct Scotland and later Soraya's Reiki Training Courses were approved by The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) to offer SCQF Credits to graduate equivalent. Master Teacher Soraya, spent several years teaching Reiki to students in the medical profession at the Ayrshire Central Teaching Hospital in Irvine and various other hospitals and health centres. Soraya's teaching methods are continued by Master Teachers of The Lightworkers Foundation that she has trained. Soraya retired from teaching to concentrate on writing but her passion for Reiki continues and she oversees training offered by The Master Teachers of the Lightworkers Foundation. Master Teachers trained by Soraya are Suzanne Trusdale, Lynne Mowat, Delina Allen, and Martin Douglas. Many more students have been trained to Master Level.
