Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAkhilesh Chandra Prabhakar is a Professor in Economics at Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University, India. In his academic journey of over 24 years, he has obtained M.Phil. & Ph.D. degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India). During the Ph.D. study, he visited Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in 2000. Thereafter, as a social scientist, he joined the project “Global Democracy Initiatives: The Art of Possible in the Era of Globalization” run by KEPA (Finland) and CSDS (India). With the same organizations, he has also served as Research Associate in the project “South Asian Perspectives on North-South Cooperation and Impact of Foreign Funding on People’s Organization”. In 2011-2015, Dr. Prabhakar served as Senior Lecturer at Universiti Utara Malaysia. He worked with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea) and served as Assistant Professor at AAU, UoG, DBU, and DTU for seven years (invited by the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia) under the UNDP). Dr. Prabhakar was associated as a Research Assistant with the project of “Evaluation of Rural Technology” (funded by CSIR) at the National Institute of Science Technology and Development Studies (India), and he actively participated in the workshop on Multi-Sectoral Production Networks at IIT (India). In total, he has attended 20+ conferences, workshops, training programs, and retreat programs in Malaysia, Ethiopia, and India for continuous teaching-learning. Dr. Prabhakar served as a member of international committee and publishing committee at the UUM (Malaysia) and reviewed conference papers of the 3rd International Conference on Rural Entrepreneurship (ICORE-15) organized by Hebei University (China) as collaborated with the UUM (Malaysia) and the University of Indonesia in 2015. He has presented several research papers in national & international conferences and seminars (including India-Africa Conference at IIC, New Delhi). Dr. Prabhakar has written two modules for Distance Learning Education in Ethiopia and published 60+ research papers (including ten Scopus-indexed and refereed) in international and national level journals. He has published two books, including the one with Emerald (UK), and one book chapter with IGI Global (USA). He has supervised MPhil and Ph.D. students. Dr. Prabhakar has served as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Social Sciences, Guest Editor of IJSS, and currently Associate Editor of IJSS. He has been working as Director of Third World Social Networks (TWSN). Gurpreet Kaur is an Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University. Vasilii Erokhin , Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Moscow University of Finance and Law MFUA. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economic and Management (2006). He holds a Specialist degree in International Economics (2003) from Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russia. His spheres of research interests: international trade in agricultural commodities, international trade and economic integration, sustainable development of trade, agricultural production and rural territories in the conditions of growing globalization, food and economic security, activities of the World Trade Organization, and regional development. Vasilii Erokhin is an author of over 140 scientific works in international economics, international trade, sustainable rural development and regionalization. He is a holder of the honorary awards from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (2010), Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2012).
