During the last 7 years he has developed as an accomplished researcher and academic, he has written to date a number of peer reviewed articles/conference papers on the mediated nature of practice-based learning and social learning in the small firm. He has been the recipient of 3 ESRC Research Bursaries Awards, is currently a reviewer for the World Conference on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the Institute of Small Business and Enterprise. He is a fellow of the HEA and a member of BAM Research Methods SIG. David’s research interest focuses on the current conceptualisations of learning in the small firm.
