Overview

In the early 1980s, four teenagers from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles took to the stage for a single concert. Two of those boys - Anthony Kiedis and Michael Balzary 'Flea' - formed the nucleus of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of the wildest and most well-known bands of all time. Aligned in what has been called funk-rock, numerous musicians have passed through the group, elevating their career to the point of filling stadiums around the world and becoming living legends. This is their story told by one of the music journalists who best knows this fabulous band.
