Overview

At an important multinational cocktail party in Washington, D.C., attended by everybody who is anybody among the political elite, the Vietnamese ambassador's wife, Thuy Nguyen, spills her glass of wine. The hostess, Ingrid Fischer, a Swiss diplomat's wife, accidentally mutters, ""Damned Fidschi,"" a racial slur used exclusively by East Germans against people from Southeast Asia. Little does anyone know that her Freudian mishap will be the catalyst that unleashes a joint investigation that takes the CIA and Thuy down a KGB rabbit hole. Who is the real Ingrid Fischer? And can Thuy master the ropes in time for the CIA to stop the Russian's next strike?
