Hilary attributes her love of education to her first and best teacher-her mother. Doug Lemov is a former teacher, principal, and consultant. Now he is a managing director at Uncommon Schools, an organization that starts and runs exceptionally high-performing public schools in urban centers in New York and New Jersey.
