Author Information

Tom Murphy has been an aviation industry trainer for 20 years and is president of The Service Institute. For the last few years, he has focused primarily on helping thousands of air travel professionals and their families recover in the wake of the September 11th attacks. Through the Airport Ambassador Program, the author provides customer service training for everyone from senior managers of airports and airlines, to baggage handlers, to flight attendants, to airport sanitation workers. He has personally trained 30,000 people over 10 years in airports across the country.
