Reclaiming Radical Ideas in Schools provides support for every primary school in the provision of Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development (SMSC), the teaching of British values and preparation for life in modern Britain. Author Information
Andrew Moffat is Assistant Head Teacher at a large Primary School in inner city Birmingham. He is the author of No Outsiders in Our School: Teaching the Equality Act in Primary Schools (Speechmark 2015) and delivers training on ‘No Outsiders’ across the country. He has a Masters in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and is currently researching the role of schools in reducing radicalisation for a PhD. In 2017 Andrew Moffat was awarded an MBE for services to equality and diversity in education.
