Author Information

R. Ramakrishna Reddy, PhD, is a former Professor at Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Andhra Pradesh, India. With over 30 years of teaching and research experience, he has authored numerous books and published around 152 popular science articles. His research interests include spectroscopy, molecular structure, solid- state and materials chemistry, and atmospheric science. He has received numerous awards, including the UGC research award in 1999, and has been a visiting scientist to IUCAA and IISc. He is a reviewer for international scientific journals and a life member of scientific societies. T. Pullaiah, a former Professor at Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Andhra Pradesh, India, has held various positions, including Dean, Faculty of Biosciences, Head of Department of Botany, and Biotechnology. He has authored 80 books, edited 40 books, and published over 340 research papers. Under his guidance, 54 students have obtained doctoral degrees. He received his PhD from Andhra University and attended Moscow State University in Russia. He was also a member of the Species Survival Commission of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
