Overview

Catalysis has become an important field of applied science interfaced with technology as almost all valuable products for human needs are obtained through catalytic reactions. Many industries, in particular petroleum, petrochemical, fine chemical and allied industries have benefitted from the technological advancements in this area of catalysis. With more and more stringent demands for clean environment, it has become essential to devise novel catalysts and processes to reduce raw material consumptions, energy and wastage.
