'We were very pleased to learn of this ambitious new two-volume compendium of key contributions over the last twenty years or so to the field of input-output analysis, compiled by seasoned veteran input-output researchers Erik Dietzenbacher, Michael Lahr and Manfred Lenzen. The input-output field is experiencing a notable renaissance of methodological developments and applications, especially in conjunction with the growing collection of global data sets, to evaluate economic, environmental, and social policy issues.
