From getting up and about well before dawn in double digit sub-zero temperatures to capture sea smoke rising over Lake Superior at sunrise, tracking February's Snow Moon as a backdrop for the elusive snowy owl, following snowshoe hare tracks that run here, there, everywhere and nowhere, visiting Saint Paul for a glimpse of the time-honored tradition of the ice palace, tracking freighters on the coldest of all winter days to capture them dripping in dazzling icicles, and even falling into Lake Superior on a sub-zero night I feel now is the time to share my winter weather adventures.
