Overview

Gorrel, from Sweden, Jesper, from Denmark and Eric, the South African photographer, have been reporting on Africa's disasters for over a decade. Realising that the horror stories they were filing with their media back home presented a very one-sided view of the continent they decided to put together a book which would show another face of Africa. For example the story from Sudan tells of two boys emerging from a civil war, how their lives change from soldiering to schooling and find a path that takes them out of the battlefields.
