Author Information

Daniel W. Johnson is Chairman and CEO of Behavioral Health Management Services of New Orleans, Louisiana. He holds a BA in sociology from Louisiana Tech University and has pursued graduate studies in counseling psychology at Louisiana Tech. He has served in senior management positions for various major mental health companies for the last twenty seven years, and currently serves as an independent consultant and manages psychiatric units in freestanding and medical surgical behavioral health units. Stephanie Jurisich Johnson is a Director for Baptist Memorial Hospital / TENET of Louisiana. She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and holds a BSN and a Masters Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University. Her Masters degree has an emphasis on community/mental health nursing. She is a voracious reader.
