Author Information

Born in Calvert County, MD, to the late Allen E. Smith and Eva Q. Smith, Bishop William E. Smith had a passion for writing and music. He recognized his gift at a very early age. He would spend long hours writing song lyrics and poems of various types on scrap paper; His song lyrics are copyrighted at the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. He published his first book, entitled Inspired Poetry Writings, 2004. He is a member of the International Society of Poets. He enrolled in the Moody Bible Institute. His academic accomplishments include a Master of Biblical Studies, a Graduate of Arts in Biblical Studies, a Doctor of Biblical Counseling from the North Carolina College of Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, FL. He has been listed in the Marquis Who's Who Biographical record in America for 2022-2023.
