Author Information

Shandre Mugan Thangavelu is an Associate Professor at National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his Ph.D from Queen's University. He has also worked with government bodies, including the Ministry of Manpower. His current research interests include ageing, education and endogenous growth, technology adoption, immigration and economic growth, and macroeconomic policies for sustainability in ASEAN countries. Aekapol Chongvilaivan is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS). He received his Ph.D from National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include impacts of international outsourcing on industries productivity and labor markets in Asian countires, regional economic integration and international financial market liberalization in Southeast Asian Countries. Friska Parulian is Associate Researcher at Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). She has worked on various projects related to linkages between real and financial economies, information security in corporate firms, e-commerce transaction, social safety net. Dr Parulian obtained her Ph.D in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.
