Author Information

Marc H. Ellis is University Professor of American and Jewish Studies and Director of the Center for American and Jewish Studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. One of today's foremost Jewish theologians, he has taught at Maryknoll School of Theology at Florida State University and served as a Senior Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. Among his many books are Unholy Alliance: Religion and Atrocity In Our Time (1997, 978-0-8006-3080-5), O, Jerusalem! (1999, 978-0-8006-3159-8), and Practicing Exile: The Religious Odyssey of an American Jew (2001, 978-0-8006-3443-8), all from Fortress Press.
