Overview

Learning development occurs due to several factors, one of which is the practicality of reading and writing frequently at school. This work aims to demonstrate the importance of this theme in the academic development of each member involved in the teaching-learning process. It will show guiding results for better reflection by all those involved in this process. To support this research, it was necessary to observe theories such as: National Curriculum Parameters; National Curriculum References; Nelly Novais Coelho; Ivani Costa Fazenda and other authors who deal with the subject. Reading and writing is a skill that is within the reach of any individual, sometimes all that is lacking is encouragement and appreciation of these aspects, which are of paramount importance for the intellectual development of human beings.
