Overview

Francis Nii is an award winning Simbu writer and champion of literature in Papua New Guinea. He is also a paraplegic and lives in the Sir Joseph Nombri Memorial Hospital in Kundiawa. Prior to his accident he was a graduate of the University of Papua New Guinea and a successful banker in Goroka. In this volume he has compiled twenty five of his short stories, essays and poems and attached reading comprehension exercises to each one so that students can test their literary skills. Literacy is a major component of a good education and lays the groundwork for a successful employment future.
